OTTAWA, ON – May 24, 2022 – Revenue Marketing consultancy Demand Spring is marking the one year anniversary of the launch of Leap Advisory, and welcoming two new esteemed marketing experts to the advisory team.

Over the past year, Leap advisors have engaged with numerous clients, providing advice across various areas of modern marketing including aligning sales and marketing around a customer-centric model; migrating to a product-led strategy; bridging thought leadership and storytelling; and cultivating a revenue marketing culture. Advisors have also had the opportunity to share their expertise through industry events, including the recent B2B Forum by MarketingProfs, where Demand Spring President Mark Emond, and Leap Advisors Carol Meyers and David Laverty spoke on “The Keys to Sales and Marketing Alignment”.

Leap has recently welcomed two new industry advisors to their team of experts – Buell Duncan and Jefferson Darrell.

Buell Duncan is a marketing executive with unsurpassed experience in optimizing the operating models of large, complex, matrixed organizations – having formerly held the position of Global CMO with IBM’s public and hybrid cloud business. As a technology marketing leader with deep experience in strategy, product positioning, business development, and go-to-market, Buell understands and advocates the importance of messaging and a personalized, customer-first approach.

Jefferson Darrell is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with expertise in change management and diversity and inclusion. As the Founder of Breakfast Culture™ Inc., Jefferson is a sought-after expert in helping organizations cultivate equitable and inclusive workplace cultures, and garner new and diverse audiences.

“What a year it has been since the launch of Leap,” said Mark Emond, Founder and President of Demand Spring. “We have had the opportunity over the past year to help CMOs tackle some of their most pressing issues and concerns by connecting them with thought leaders who have walked in their shoes and can offer first-hand advice. Seeing the accomplishments we have had over the past year, the advisors we have worked with, and the clients we have helped has been incredible. I am looking forward to many more years of being able to help our clients achieve continued growth and success.”

“Working with the Leap advisory team has helped us in so many ways,” said Clint Poole, CMO at Egress. “We have used their expertise to help us evolve our marketing team across a range of disciplines including product-lead growth and brand marketing. Their advice and guidance has been invaluable.”
